History After Amnesia
On the brink of death, Enok awoke in a melted ditch in Coerthas Central Highlands near Dragonhead yet still a distance away from Ishgardian Scouts. To his surprise he knew not why he laid bloody, sore from the gash across his throat and freezing. The only thing he found of any use was his bandana and the scorched remains of two unfortunate souls beside him. Binding his neck the best he could, he scooped the skulls of the pair without thinking and rose to try and find someone to aid him.It was during this grueling walk, that he was stumbled upon by Lady Saphelle Jienuex and her manservant. Taken in, he was nursed back to health over the course of nearly two weeks and when asked about the incident, he could not answer. In his belongings was a slip of parchment signed by a Qih'a Lihzeh and Enok mistook this as his own name when inquiries of this individual came up empty. After being seen by additional physicians it was clear he had suffered amnesia after the traumatic experience, and despite Lady Jienuex knowing the miqo'te that now was in her care it was decided to continue the ruse until such a time when his memories would return.
History Before Amnesia
Prior to the incident in Coerthas, orphaned Enok and his twin were around the age of five when they were found in the Chocobo Forest. Raised on the Delgadio Chocobo Ranch, a quaint farmstead of several houses and communal tents in the Chocobo Forests outside of Tailfeather that ran by Auront Delgadio and his wife Thalia Epocan also lived. Adopted by Thalia, who began an orphanage after returning from her homeland of Thavnair wedded to Auront, with her children of three male and three female miqo'te. Of what was found at the time, the only thing they would tell the twins was that their parents were possible refugees of Dalmasca, merchants that were discovered dead on the road enroute to Ishgard, yet no valuables or gil was taken. That it was likely an execution rather than simple murder.Life on the Ranch itself was simple, breeding, training and the raising of chocobos. Protecting the wildlife and following the Tailfeather Hunter's Code when necessary. For the chocobos the Ranch raised, these were sold exclusively to House Jienuex and solidified relations between the clan and Ishgardian Lower Noble House. Enok, despite being a Viera among Miqo'te, was successful in bartering, trade, and tending to the chocobos they raised.Among a few of his hobbies, Enok dabbled in the Epocan family secrets of magic and trained with the hunters of Tailfeather alongside his twin and adopted family to ensure the safety of the Ranch as well as uphold the Hunter's Code.
